How sessions work
From the first booking to regular sessions, the practical details are kept clear so you can focus on the conversation.
Your first appointment
Choose an available paid initial consultation in the booking portal. If you have a short practical question first, contact Amber to request a Q&A.
You receive an assessment form, GDPR information, working agreement and payment details before the appointment.
You can talk about what has brought you to therapy, what you hope to gain, ask questions and get a sense of whether the relationship feels right.
If you choose to continue, sessions usually take place at the same time each week. Many clients begin with six sessions and review together.
Choose how to meet
The quality of the conversation matters most. Choose the setting that gives you the best chance to feel private, present and comfortable.
A dedicated therapy room at 1 Church Street, around five minutes from Epsom station.
£80Join from a private space across the UK or worldwide. Your camera can be off if preferred.
£70Meet by WhatsApp call or standard phone when voice-only feels more comfortable or practical.
£70Remote sessions
Choose a space where you are unlikely to be interrupted. Headphones can help in a shared building. After forms and payment are complete, Amber sends the Teams link or call details, plus email and SMS reminders.
If you are outside the UK, Amber may check your time zone, location and what local support would be available in an emergency.
Keeping the work useful
A consistent time helps create continuity and a dependable place for the work.
Sessions start and end at the agreed time, including when a client arrives late.
You and Amber check what is helping, what needs attention and whether to continue.
