Therapy
Therapy offers space to slow down, say what may be difficult to say elsewhere and explore a future that feels more manageable and hopeful.
Reasons people come
This is not a checklist you need to fit. It is a guide to some of the experiences Amber commonly supports.
Including panic, overthinking, uncertainty and feeling constantly on alert.
Support when motivation, hope or enjoyment feel difficult to reach.
Exploring critical patterns and building a kinder relationship with yourself.
Making sense of old patterns, difficult relationships or painful events.
Including separation, grief, work changes, parenthood or a change in identity.
When responsibilities feel too much or you have lost sight of your own needs.
Understanding how you relate to others and what safer connection might look like.
A place to explore feelings that are difficult to name or make sense of alone.
What the work can offer
Counselling can focus on a specific present-day challenge and practical emotional support. Psychotherapy can make room for deeper patterns, past experiences and longer-standing concerns.
In practice, the work does not need to fit neatly into one label. Amber will listen to what you need and review the approach with you as therapy develops.
This experience has been truly transformative.

Therapy is individual
You may want to work on a current difficulty, transition or coping strategy over a shorter period. Progress is reviewed with you, not assumed.
You may want time to understand persistent patterns, relationships or earlier experiences without rushing towards a quick answer.
Your next step
The paid first session gives you 50 minutes to talk through what you need and decide together how to proceed.
